The aim of the Specialists' Course is to allow the Cadet Leaders to enhance their instructional abilities in organising, conducting and executing Individual Field Craft, Technical Handling of SAR 21 Weapon and Physical Fitness to attain the Army-NCC Badge (better known as "Cookie"), so as to contribute what they have learned and experienced to the school units.
We are pleased to announce all 6 Cadets had successfully passed out from the course with their Cadet Leader rank & Army NCC Badge. Among them, CPL Maung Pyay Phyo Paing had performed exceptionally well during the course, attaining a total score of 226.15, resulting him being awarded the rank of 2SG. Here are some of the reflections written by the cadets:
I was very scared when I realised that I have to go for my Specialist Course. It was quite tiring and stressful as we have to be prepared for the 3 day camp. I tried my best for all the tests and I listened carefuly for the revisions ... ... I've got the cookie badge for passing my GSK (General Specialist Knowledge) and also had the 3SG rank. I was quite pleased with my overall performance...

When I was in Specialist Course on Day 1, I was very nervous because I know that there are 6 Platoons and 6 of us wil be separated. When I was posted to Bravo 4, I did not know anyone and I tried to make friends with people around me. When I had tests, I had my new friends to help with refreshing the IA drills ... ... My new friends were very caring and helped me on my way when I had difficulties. I learnt a new cheer and corrected some of my wrong ones ... ... When I got my cert, I was very happy when I left the camp and will not forget what my sirs told me. Fear must be overcomeOnce again, Congratulations to all 6 cadets who had managed to pass out from the course. We hope you will continue to lead the unit with Esprit De Corps.
